One memorable song

“Wow! That was amazing I remembered saying to my best friend. Me and my best friend, Graciela was together playing and having fun after all those exams we faced last week. She came to my house the other day and so I came to hers this time. As I remembered, we had a competition of “who can sing the lyrics”, so it is like we both choose the same song, then we have to sing it without looking at the lyrics (and we were using the karaoke version, so there were only the tones) , so we should memorize the lyrics first at home. I forgot what song we had sung that day. Too bad, I forgot to memorize it that day so when it was time for me to sing, I can’t sing the song, I can only sing the chorus part. But I think my best friend, Graciela memorizes the whole thing because she sang it so good and it was just perfect. After she sang the song, I told her it was fantastic, and she told me that she had practice since 2 days ago, and this is the result.

30 minutes later, we were both tired of playing and so Graciela suddenly tell me something, “ Huali, kindly tell the teachers tomorrow that I’m not gonna be there from tomorrow onwards, I told Stephanie (my other friend) already, but in can she forgot you can help tell the teacher, ok?” I was so shock, and I said, Ok while nodding. I hug her straight after I say that, and she hugs me back, and so I left.

I cried on my way back, it’s been 4 years now, and we haven’t meet until now, so the song she sang was a memorable song to me, because it was the last song she sang to me. She herself is also a memorable “song” to me.
