Another part of my blog project __
Instant messaging
A few months ago, there was something surprising for me that happened. It all happens when I open my yahoo account. I realize that someone has asked me to be their “friend” on yahoo. Because I don’t add random people, I just leave it there in case I know who the person is. So, I just browse through my e-mails and log out my account.
2 days later, when I open my yahoo account again, I browse through the e-mails and realize that the person who has asked me to be their “friend” on yahoo had mail me. The subject was: “Hi! Accept my add?” then the body of the e-mail sound like this: “Hey, Huali! Still remember me? I’ve added you… accept please.” I didn’t know who it was so I just reply the message, this is how it sounds like: Hi! Sorry, but do we know each other? I don’t add random, sorry.
The next day, she sent me back a reply saying this: You don’t remember me? I know it’s been a long time, but it doesn’t mean we forget each other. I’m Stephanie, remember? I still don’t know who she is, so I sent her a reply: Stephanie? Which Stephanie? I’m not really sure I remember you. She sent me a reply, 30 minutes after I send my last one: “I’m your best friend in grade 2, you usually call me Stidi. Now I guess you must remember.
I think for a second, then I remember who she was, I can’t even belief we could meet again after about 5 years not communicating with each other. So I quickly accept her request and chat with her. We chat a lot, and thanks to Instant messaging, now me and my old best friend can meet each other again, and also now we often go hang out together.
